Ruud van Nistelrooy made his summer debut at Manchester United as the team's assistant coach.
Ruud van Nistelrooy, a star of Manchester United, has admitted that he was unable to accept the opportunity to play at Old Trafford again.
Van Nistelrooy, 48, spent five years at the Theatre of Desires as a player, winning one Premier League title and one FA Cup. Having now been installed as Erik ten Hag's fresh associate, alongside Rene Hake, ahead of the new year, pleasure is building once again.
The Red Devils have now extended the commitment of Ten Hag after first sounding out repairs for him during the summertime. Ruud has previously worked in the bleachers for PSV Eindhoven, but he acknowledged that a meeting with Manchester United was too great to decline.
" It's unique to get up, to get fair", he entirely told ManUtd.com. " I mean, when United second came in with the chance to be assistant manager, it was amazing.
" I never thought of it, but when it occurred, it was something that I could n't refuse, with the role that I was going to fill. Of course, then] I was ] flying into Manchester, ]seeing ] Carrington and Old Trafford and town and how much changed and how much is still the same. So it's specific. It's really special to be again."
Some ideas in the internet have been that the Dutchman could move in to remove Ten Hag, if things once again refuse to move forward at Old Trafford this year. As he explained what he wanted to achieve while playing for Manchester United and beyond, Ruud's know-how became less obvious.
When asked about this view, he said," On a collective stage, it's important to find the different game aspects into the team, what is expected in the pressing, in the build-up, in the mid-block, or in all the aspects of the activity."
" Like obvious: what do we want? What format should the murder follow, and how should it be incorporated into the teaching pitch? I believe we are both in agreement with that, as well as the director, of course, and you should continue to exert influence on other people or groups as well.
" In the end, when we're on one site, then we are surely the strongest. That's our purpose and it will get time, but I think we had a good start but way".
