Phil Foden has briefly left England’s Euro 2024 tent and returned to the UK to attend to a “pressing home matter”, according to an FA director.
The Manchester City midfielder is said to have left the team to enter the delivery of his second child.
Foden started all three of England's party game, but it's not known when he will miss time or when he will return for Sunday's game against Germany in Gelsenkirchen.
Foden and his companion Rachel Cooke announced their third child on Instagram in April. They have two kids. Brother Ronnie, five, and daughter Real, who is two years old.
