Euro 2024 has seen a few records broken already, though Italy midfielder Bryan Cristante should n't be too proud of this one
In Spain's Euro 2024 encounter with Italy, the supplement Bryan Cristante left Rodri lying in a heap right off the bat.
At the crack, Roma playmaker Cristante made a triple substitution for Jorginho, who also saw Andrea Cambiaso replace Davide Frattesi. Cristante also made an immediate and precise impact by clattering into Rodri right after the second half.
Clive Tyldesley, a journalist for ITV, described it as" a rather malicious one" for the Spaniard as" a sore one" for him and said Vinnie Jones would be proud of it.

Vinnie Jones is not Bryan Cristante's choice for quick post- kickoff interceptions.
The Welsh global was mentioned in a guide to the Welsh global being booked within five seconds of kick-off, twice in his career, again for Sheffield United against Manchester City in 1991, and then again against Sheffield United, who had since since moved to Chelsea.
Cristante struggled to stop that by sending the terrible only 15 seconds after being introduced and then receiving a golden card five seconds later, making his 20 minutes between being cautioned and starting the match the fastest yellow cards for a substitute in Western Championships history.
Fortunately, Rodri recovered from some on-the-ground therapy, which was good for City and Spain supporters.

Young people may have recalled the moment Steven Gerrard received a flat dark cards for England only 38 hours after starting against Manchester United in March 2015.
Perhaps the original England midfielder soon recognized that a Spaniard was the right choice after Gerrard steamrolled into Ander Herrera with a mark that even the previous England midfielder promptly accepted was the correct call from the officials.
In the 55th minute, a Riccardo Calafiori personal target put Italy in danger.
