Before Friday night's date, Manchester United appears to have made the filing of a encouraging lad to wrap up a busy summer transfer windows.

This is the first screen in which minority user Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his Ineos team have been in command of the team's football businesses, with the businessman overseeing a £140million saving binge which has seen Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui snapped up.

The team are even working to mark Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte, who, like the previous four additions, may be expected to make an instant first-team factor. But the team are even looking to the future and are on the verge of a package for one of the game's best younger talents.

Sekou Kone, 18, a midfielder, arrived in Manchester on Wednesday night and will have a health on Thursday, according to transfer professional Fabrizio Romano. This will be the last stage in his move, which will then be announced.

Kone is set to join from Moroccan side Guidars FC, with the main midfielder catching the eye of scouts from some of Europe's biggest clubs during the Under-17s World Cup next year, which Kone's Mali part reached the semi-finals before seeing off Argentina in the third-place play-off.

The child's performances in that event saw him compared to Yara Toure, with The Athletic recently reporting that Manchester United were able to view a deal worth an original £1.2million, pipping the likes of Red Bull Salzburg, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanders to his signature.

With Premier League rules now stating that teams can no longer agree transfer deals for players before their 18th birthday, the Red Devils have had to wait until this summer for the move to go through, as Kone only turned 18 in February.

In DataVictory's opinion, it makes perfect sense for a club like Manchester United to sign up the game's most highly-rated youngsters, with the club also moving for ex-Arsenal starlet Chido Obi-Martin earlier in the summer. In order for the Red Devils to transition to a model that can foster young talent while making big-money signings, Kone will have one of the best players in the world to learn from in that position.
