Despite Joshua Zirkzee's entrance, Manchester United story McClair believes his former team needs to add more firepower.
Manchester United star Brian McClair is demanding his erstwhile team dive back into the transfer business this summer to mark a proven Premier League goal-scorer.
After acquiring former Bayern Munich and Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, the Red Devils have already added another forward to their summer squad, but McClair is n't convinced that the 23-year-old Dutchman can make a difference after netting 11 Serie A goals last year.
" To be honest, I do n't really know anything about Zirkzee but United's policy now seems to be to go for youngsters, which I can understand on the one hand", McClair tells DataVictory in an exclusive chat. On Gambling.com, read Brian McClair's Premier League score predictions for each activity week of the Premier League season.
" But to be effective in English basketball, you need a player that's going to score you at least 20 club goals a period" he continues. " In almost every recent campaign that's been real of the division winners. You can even look at the recent Jurgen Klopp Liverpool attributes that challenged Manchester City every month. Although they frequently had three forwards, the number of goals they scored was n't always sufficient.
" Manchester United's new seasons have been a major problem, especially next year," said one player. You need to be ready to score more than one target a game at this stage. The major teams do that."
Despite some encouraging viewings from last season's new filing, Rasmus Hojlund, McClair also wants to see some additional power added to Erik ten Hag's club.
" Hojlund improved towards the close, so maybe he can stay pushing on," the Scot explains". Then you have Marcus Rashford, who's always been a great winner but he did have a great time two months before. You expect more from him this time. Alejandro Garnacho has demonstrated his ability to win sanctions and score critical goals.
" But I still want to see more opposition, especially since Zirkzee has no prior Premier League practice." I'd like to see a player with a pedigree playing American sport. Ivan Toney would be a fantastic partner. He's going into his final season of agreement, which could facilitate negotiations. I think United should go for it".
