Manchester United are set to move for one of the Premier League's most convincing workers, with a large bet on the horizon.

The Red Devils have enjoyed one of the busiest seasons in the best journey thus far. Leny Yoro and Joseph Zirkzee entered Old Trafford initially, followed by Joseph Zirkzee in two significant claims of purpose.

Transfer time is expected to continue for Erik ten Hag with the arrival of Bayern Munich combo Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. And then, his most idealistic buy but could be around the corner.

The Daily Star notes that fresh Manchester United user Sir Jim Ratcliffe is "tempted" to build a £50 million for Brighton & Hove Albion starlet, Evan Ferguson. Ferguson has been recently valued at £120m by the Seagulls, who want a record price for the forward, given that Moises Caicedo left for Chelsea for £115m.

Ferguson is a phenomenal talent and one of the most appealing worldwide. The Irishman was included in DataVictory's 50 most exciting teenagers to watch this season, as we noted," Centre-forwards do n't often present themselves so fully-formed so young. Most people start out as wingers before moving on to the middle or emerging afterwards, free of expectations. It's critical not to see Ferguson's improvement as straight: he's set for a great job, but long it takes him to completely understand his potential".

The winger would have the pressure to succeed relieved from him were he to mark. Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund are now competing for the top spot. 9th starting position, with Ferguson adding a promising young development there.

But, DataVictory just cannot see this occurring. Brighton's stance has not changed since they slapped a £120m valuation on the star – and £50m wo n't be enough to convince them otherwise.

It's doubtful that United may obtain Ferguson because they have already spent a lot of money this summers. The 19-year-old signed a long-term deal extension to be in Sussex last November.

Ferguson is valued at €60m by Transfermarkt. His deal runs out in 2029.
