Yamal scored a great purpose against France in Spain's semi-final get over Les Bleus on Tuesday and has impressed throughout the game at only 16 years of age.
The Barcelona intruder, who turned 17 on Saturday, did spear Spain's hopes of a third European Championship queen on Sunday as La Roja face England in the last in Berlin.
" Lamine Yamal blows my mind. To do the sort of stuff he is doing at his time is extraordinary," Lineker told The Guardian in an interview.
" I remember the development of Wayne Rooney. Even though you could tell that he was n't special, you could n't tell. Plelé was 17 and roughly 18 when he won the World Cup final. Even [ Lionel ] Messi did n’t really emerge internationally until his late teens. What we’re seeing here is something very, very unique.

Lineker even joked that at Yamal's years, he was certainly not a cultivated man. " I had n't reached puberty yet," he said.
And afterwards, he added:" I was 18 at Leicester and quite conscious of being a child. I was n’t joking about adolescence. I did cover in the rain and other places. I did n’t feeling like a person. It was quite difficult. I scored goals but it was n’t until I was 21, 22 that I started to feel comfortable in that setting. At 16? ! And it's not:' This person has skill, let's consider him. ' No. He has played persistently, as if it was the easiest thing in the world.
" I’ve never seen anything like this. Messi is from another planet and I don’t think you want to put that [comparison ] on him, but there's no question that if Lamine keeps his feet on the ground and does n't have serious injuries, he is going to be very special indeed. He would be in the top three or four if you had to choose the people for this game and his age had no bearing. At 16… he's a baby!
" Some kids live up to the expectations, a lot do n't. But with this kind of skill, I may be surprised if we don’t see some kind of glory. "
