The two Hispanic clubs are said to be interested in making that happen by hosting European group games in the USA.
Javier Tebas, the chairman of La Liga, has made it clear that he wants the organization to play a game in the United States of America soon, possibly in December.
Tebas told The Athletic:" It does not depend only on us, but if we are ready to do it, we did. The concept is to do it as soon as possible",
" I don't put a period, but we are currently working on it. The clubs that take element will do so voluntarily. They wo n't make a decision for me. We have to find a good time in the timeline, but we are going to attempt to do it in Miami, where we tried recently. We are not going to complete a full gameweek. It will be one game ( per season ), and that's it".
December day eyed for La Liga's primary device worldwide
La Liga has previously attempted to play in the United States, but those intentions were voided when FIFA and US sport officials intervened to wiggle a hand and play tut-tut at the programs.
However, there have been suggestions that Football may be easing their mind, and La Liga intends to test the waters. According to Relevo, the scheduled fight between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid on the weekend before Christmas is most likely candidate.
Both clubs are said to be interested in the idea; in fact, Atletico COO Oscar Mayo Pardo stated on record that" we would love to be one of the first two clubs in the history of European leagues to play ( competitively ) in the U.S. S.. La Liga knows we are completely available for that and, when it will be feasible, it will be a joy for us".
In order to gain more interest and popularity in the well-known North American broadcast industry, La Liga is seen as a means to try to gain floor in the face of the Premier League's economic hegemony.
When presented to the Premier League, these ideas have gotten controversial.
