As the 2024/25 strategy draws to a close, Mason Mount hopes to see a time of forgiveness at Manchester United.

Mount, 25, made only five Premier League starts next year, while also contributing an extra 16 minutes to the Red Devils ' 2024 FA Cup victory. Injuries to his leg proved a more loss than originally planned and playing second fiddle to the team captain is likewise usually a testing issue in itself.
But with the new year then just right around the corner, Mount is probably facing the biggest check of his career to date. Considering Manchester United paid £60m for Mount next summer, that's devastating reflection on where his career was possibly mind. Certainly, Van de Beek was signed for around £35m in 2020, but ended up leaving in the summer to Girona for only £420, 600, though that cost could possibly fall to £7.66m.
Although it may be tough on Mount, Fernandes ' ouster may not seem as simple as it may seem. The Portugal worldwide has just completed new terms at Old Trafford, which will at least allow the team captain of Manchester United to serve until 2027. It's still to be seen whether Mount will find a way to end Bruno's long-standing involvement with the team.
