Zlatan Ibrahimovic silenced plenty of critics in the English media - with just one goal
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is definitely one of the most recognized players of the modern age, enjoying a successful career spanning over three years and seven different nations.
A true visionary, Ibrahimovic was not far from the headlines thanks to his extraordinary goalscoring capacity on the pitch and vocal confidence off it.
The Swedish striker just left the professional game and has since spoken about his 18-month absence from the renowned British press in specific.
After four years in Paris, Ibrahimovic's arrival on the English coast appeared to have finally made him one of the best protesters in history. He was thought to have reached his final year of his career. Before finding a house in France's capital, where he was in his 30s, inconsistent issues plagued his first decade of occupation as he bounced between Western giants.
Ibrahimovic joined Jose Mourinho's Manchester United after scoring 113 goals on 122 images, sparking the typical internet craze as he launched his 35th-year album plan.
Ibrahimovic led the Red Devils to three trophies in the 2016/17 time, but an ACL tear late in the season prevented him from tying up another remarkable target total, which was the best response to questions about his time and protagonist. With that achievement, Ibrahimovic led the Red Devils to 17 Premier League goals in his debut season. Ibrahimovic explained the joy of seeking retribution for his failure years prior in an interview with the YouTuber Hot Ones.
" The English media always attacked me", he said. " They were like' you think you're good, but you're not good. You're just a prima donna with your ponytail.'
" Then I scored that goal. Oh my god. Consider your opinion? I felt very good."
It's unsure which goal Ibra is actually referring to, however. Does he refer to the Community Shield goal that he scored for Manchester United first? DataVictory reckons not, that his 2012 goal against the Three Lions in a friendly against Sweden was probably his best effort.
Ibrahimovic left the Red Devils in January 2018, taking the MLS by storm before returning to AC Milan to see out the final years of his glittering career.
