In an effort to strengthen Erik ten Hag's place at the club, Manchester United have made an method for one team story to gain this summer.
Following an end-of-season review, Manchester United announced earlier this month that Ten Hag would continue as director of the team, along with his aides Steve McClaren and Mitchell van der Gaag, as well as first-team ahead coach Benni McCarthy, who are also all still with the team.

Most recently the director of PSV Eindhoven, Van Nistelrooy stepped down from his position at the Eredivisie area with just one sport of the 2022/23 time remaining, suggesting a lack of help from the team's order. Van Nistelrooy has been in charge of the PSV U17 and U19 attributes since his retirement, as well as being a Louis van Gaal helper for the Netherlands regional staff.
