In an effort to strengthen Erik ten Hag's place at the club, Manchester United have made an method for one team story to gain this summer.

Following an end-of-season review, Manchester United announced earlier this month that Ten Hag would continue as director of the team, along with his aides Steve McClaren and Mitchell van der Gaag, as well as first-team ahead coach Benni McCarthy, who are also all still with the team.

However, it appears that the order is prepared to give Ten Hag even more equipment to excel at Old Trafford, starting with the choosing of a team legend following contradictory performances in the 2023/24 period.

Ruud van Nistelrooy may be able to take up mentoring at Manchester United this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Van Nistelrooy won the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup with a 150 goal total in 219 matches for Manchester United during his five years there, before moving to Real Madrid in 2006.

But, Van Nistelrooy is in the running to replace Bayern Munich-bound Vincent Kompany as the Championship party's manager despite the report claiming they face opposition from Burnley.

Most recently the director of PSV Eindhoven, Van Nistelrooy stepped down from his position at the Eredivisie area with just one sport of the 2022/23 time remaining, suggesting a lack of help from the team's order. Although a returning to Manchester United is a good idea, he has since been unemployed, and it also represents a slight decline in his profession trajectory.

Van Nistelrooy has been in charge of the PSV U17 and U19 attributes since his retirement, as well as being a Louis van Gaal helper for the Netherlands regional staff. In his nearly one-full time in charge, he won the Johan Cruyff and KNVB Cup in his place as Roger Schmidt did in PSV's senior manager in March 2022.

The 47-year-old's decision to pursue a prospect is suggested by Fabrizio Romano, who suggests the pair will do so in the coming year.
