That is a shift from Euro 2020, when Cristiano Ronaldo and the Czech Republic's Patrik Schick were tied on five goals, with the prize handed to the Portuguese kindness of him having an aid to his title.
Two of the six, Kane and Musiala, play their sport for Bayern Munich. But for the England captain, it is likely to be limited comfort after he misses out on a team prize again afterwards.
Kane, who also won the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup, has said he will exchange all of his personal accolades for a winners ' medal with England ahead of the last against Spain. However, the rush is on him.
England's Jude Bellingham and Spain set Nico Williams and Fabián Ruiz were among 10 people to end the game on two goals.
