During the 1- 0 win over Austria, the Frence forth were battered and infected.
After suffering monster injury in their team's hard-fought 10-0 win over Austria in their Euro 2024 Group D opening, France combo Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe were both left bloody and bruised.
After the split, Griezmann collided with the marketing hoardings, and Mbappe slammed his head into Kevin Danso's head as he attempted to throw a ball in the closing stages.
Griezmann, who had his best scoring time in six years, looks to play a significant part for Les Bleus and entered Euro 2024 with a sort of profession renaissance.
However, after colliding with the marketing hoardings, he suffered his wound just before half-time.
The 33-year-old started for Didier Dechamps in his 130th foreign cap and saw plenty of first-half action as the French led 1 to 0 with a Max Wober personal goal after the Leeds United forward had headed an Mbappe mix into his own net.
The second alarming incident of the game, which occurred shortly after the split, saw Wober and Griezmann wrestle for a game on the touchline and quickly hit the advertising boards.
After suffering a wound, Griezmann struck them head foremost, with the forward emerging with a bruised scalp. The Frenchman was able to keep his head bandaged with a lot of it after receiving care first on the ball and then on the side.
He would quickly remove the bandage and continue playing as he was sadly fit to do so after almost immediately when it started to fall off.
Wober's incident was just one of many flashpoints, with the latter being booked early in the game, his 38th-minute individual goal being scored before the hour mark before being substituted.
With three days left, Mbappe was unable to play because he needed to spend a lot of time on the ball before making his way to the sidelines. He also suffered what appeared to be a broken head.
The confusion next persisted on the touchline, with Mbappe returning to the ball before he had permission and stumbling down to make the change.
He was therefore placed in a hospital, where he was finally replaced. France would gradually prevail in what would have been a tense starting victory. However, Mbappe is still a fear for France's upcoming Friday game against Netherlands, leaving him open to question.
