Another craziness occurred on Chelsea's Deadline Day, with a former Premier League player calling their company "incredible"-- and we're never sure if he means that as a gift.
The transfer glass at Chelsea was occupied. Deadline Day has been another busy one for the Blues, also, with ins and outs.
Victor Osimhen has been the main topic of conversation all evening. After discussions with Chelsea, the Nigerian scorer appears to be staying at Napoli, but Jadon Sancho is too expensive and has a purchase requirement.
Not everyone is impressed, yet. Speaking to BBC Sport, past Tottenham and Sheffield United legend Michael Brown expressed his concern about the squad-building at the Bridge, as Chelsea apparently stockpile more talents back of another long period.
" Chelsea's transfer firm is incredible", Brown said. I'm not sure how you handle all those gamers on the teaching ground.
" What is the long-term schedule? Profitability, how does it work and put up? The new boss, sports director, and owner are all at odds with the organization. It is remarkable what we are witnessing."
In addition to the pending Sancho move, Chelsea have spent more than$ 200 million on the transfer market. Before Tosin Adarabioyo signed for complimentary from Fulham, Omari Kellyman made a$ 19 million move from Aston Villa on June 29. Marc of Barcelona value £5m, next Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall signed for £30m.
Before Aaron Anselmino signed for £15 million and was later loaned back to Boca Juniors, Renato Veiga, Caleb Wiley, and Filip Jorgensen all signed for a combined sum of$ 40 million in July. Pedro Neto and Joao Felix signed for a sum that will ultimately cost the pair around £100 million in the last few weeks.
There have been huge escapes, to, however. Academy graduates Conor Gallagher, Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall and Tino Anjorin have all departed the league entirely, while Romelu Lukaku's Chelsea horror is over, then that a £25m transfer to Napoli has been agreed.
Raheem Sterling does still left for Arsenal. Ben Chilwell appears to be planning a trip to January.
