Chelsea are reported to be lining up a shock transfer for one of Cole Palmer's past Manchester City friends.

Palmer, 22, enjoyed a great comeback winter at Stamford Bridge under Mauricio Pochettino, netting a staggering 27 goals along with 15 helps in 48 activities. He also scored in the Euro 2024 finalized for England, with the Three Lions later beaten 2-1 by Spain.

With Enzo Maresca then in charge, the Music have recruited greatly with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Marc Guiu and Omari Kellyman just some of the brands brought to the team this summer, with more swings then touted too.

According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea are said to be preparing to make a move for Manchester City sun Oscar Bobb, who Maresca claims is a huge fan. The boy enjoyed a miracle time at the Etihad Stadium last season, featuring 26 days for the Premier League leaders.

The 21-year-old is understood to be content to stay and fight for more minutes at Manchester City having been greatly relied upon by Guardiola. Phil Foden, Rico Lewis and Tommy Doyle are just some of the people City have promoted to their first-team in recent years and many think Bobb has the ability to follow in their footsteps.

" I think Oscar's been the standout performer throughout the three games ]of City's pre-season tour of the United States ] so far", said former defender Joleon Lescott when praising Bobb recently. " I think he's definitely made the most appropriate decisions, regardless of the outcome.

" His decision-making has been great and that's all you can ask for from someone so young – but of any player – if they get into the correct positions, what is the result?"

Bobb is valued by Transfermarkt at €25million ( £21.3million ) and does still have five years left on his deal with City. We here at DataVictory think the gifted Norweigan should be put for today, given the opportunties now handed to him by Guardiola next year.
