Enzo Maresca's appointment as Chelsea's new supervisor was confirmed this year.
On Monday, Enzo Maresca was appointed as Chelsea's new manager, and the Italian appears to be ready to change things up to bring in fresh eyes.
Following last season's withdrawal of Mauricio Pochettino, who led the team to sixth-place finishes when leaving after just one season in charge, the Blues have signed the original Leicester City boss on a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
Maresca, who won the Championship with the Foxes this time and served as Pep Guardiola's associate during Manchester City's treble- winning campaign 12 months prior, is then getting to work on reshaping Chelsea's costly- assembled squad.
In order to free up money for new deals, Maresca is prepared to sell four people for a total of £145 million, according to Teamtalk.
Benoit Badiashile, a keeper for AC MIlan, may be the first to leave after living up to objectives following his £33 million shift from Monaco in January 2023.
The 44-year-old wants to mark a cap who can use his feet stronger, so Maresca is delighted to allow goalkeeper Robert Sanchez leave, according to the report. Sanchez, who was signed for £25million next summers, is thought to have attracted interests in Spain and the Premier League.
Marc Cucurella, who left Brighton in a £60 million deal last summer, is alleged to have made another poor impression. Cucurella even reportedly failed to live up to his pricetag. The 25-year-old has been linked with Aston Villa and Manchester United.
Lastly, centre- up Trevoh Chalobah could also be sacrificed. Given that the 24- yr- old is a product of the Blues ' academy, any fee for him would come down as real profit, once boosting Maresca's transfer kitty.
If the England under-21 foreign quartet all receive the fees Chelsea are interested in, Manchester United may have spent £145 million on them.
