Despite being drawn to Chelsea and Manchester United this summers, Michael Olise has explained why he chose to leave Crystal Palace.

Bayern announced on Sunday that the European Under- 21 perpetrator had completed a move to the Bundesliga companies, thought to be for around £60 million, and he will link up with England captain Harry Kane at the Allianz Arena future time.

Many expected the 22-year-old London-born winger to continue playing for Chelsea and United after having previously played for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City at adolescent stage and beginning his career at Reading. Olise had been closely linked with both Chelsea and United.

But Olise said:" The conversations with FC Bayern were very good, and I'm very glad to now be playing for for a great team.

" It's a wonderful concern, and that's exactly what I was looking for. I want to demonstrate my worth at this stage and contribute to making sure that our team can get as many titles as possible in the upcoming years.

And Max Eberl, the flaunting director of Bayern, said:" Michael Olise is a player who can make the difference. His play has piqued a lot of attention."

" We want fresh motivation in our team, new strength, new thoughts – that's what people like Michael Olise stand for. During the deals, he immediately signalled that he really wanted to join FC Bayern. We're pretty much looking forward to him. He will strengthen our match".

Bayern Munich missed out on the Bundesliga name next time to Bayer Leverkusen, having won the competition for the past 11 years.
