Recent studies had suggested that Spur ' second goal would be Juventus and Italy forward Federico Chiesa, with the team said to be looking at bringing the 26-year-old to north London in things of a cut-price offer.

With only 14 goals in 70 appearances for Juventus over the past two seasons, Chiesa may indicate anything of a risk- albeit one with a large ceiling if he would be able to recapture his past form.
Given Spurs ' summer moves so far for young players, who are yet to prove themselves in the Premier League, a more dependable and experienced forward would make more sense.
