Manchester United are now on a pre-season visit of the United States in Los Angeles.
Christian Eriksen, the midfielder for Manchester United, has laid out his upcoming plans, which may see him putting his skills to the test once more once his time at the top of the game is over.
Given that he is already in the last season of his Red Devils contract, the Swedish foreign is well aware that his future may soon come into focus as the team prepares for their second season in the country.
The 32-year-old started 12 Premier League games next year and came off the bench 10 days, with Kobbie Mainoo's first-team discovery over the second half of the time eating into Eriksen's playing time.
But despite this, the original Spurs and Brentford player also believes he can work at the highest degree for another three years- and would then be open to playing area football.
" Today, I would suggest yes]to remain at elite levels ] but in three years ' time my attitude may be different, so that could be in the area or anywhere", Eriksen told the Guardian. " There is a time and a place]for less game time] and I am not getting younger but it does n't feel like I'm not getting younger.
" Psychologically, I am still the exact but body-wise in terms of activities and how we play, sometimes it is nice to have a rest, to be able to do to 100 %. I have n't been told]to] leave or]about an ] extension. I feel great about living in Manchester, and I feel great about my family.
Eriksen, who captained Denmark for the first time at Euro 2024, thinks training might be a possibility once he hangs his boots.
" I started]the badges ] a few weeks ago, "he added". We just did three meetings then we stopped."
Manchester United are now playing at Arsenal, Real Betis, and England during their pre-season tour of the United States. On Saturday, August 10, they will face off against foes Manchester City in the FA Community Shield.
