In the club's busy summer, Arsenal are selling another Hale End promise.
Arsenal have lost a player described as their "best-ever" college student, it has been confirmed.
The Gunners have had a hectic summer with expenditure. Beloved Hale End solution Emile Smith Rowe was the first to leave N5 earlier this summer in a move to Fulham, with Eddie Nketiah expected to follow him out of the entrance.
Another possibility, Brooke Norton-Cuffy has left Arsenal for Genoa, while Reuell Walters and Amario Cozier-Duberry both left for gratis. Teen feeling Chido Obi-Martin, however, was offered a fresh agreement– but chose to mark for Manchester United.
Then, a player described as the best of the lot has departed, too. Prior to departing from Deportivo La Coruna, Charlie Patino posted a message on X ( formerly Twitter ) confirming his exit from the club.
" I joined the club when I was 11 years old with a desire of one day making my album for Arsenal", the midfielder wrote. " I had the opportunity to realize my desire, and I'll always be grateful for it."
According to AS in Spain, the Raiders have negotiated choices over Patino's coming. It's possible that a major sell-on provision has been inserted, maybe even a buy-back provision or a second refusal to the player.
Losing Patino for what is expected to be a nominal fee, but, is still a major blow. The hunter who discovered him, Brian Stapleton, previously told GOAL that no one compared to Patino in the Gunners ' Hale End layout.
" Of all the years I've been scouting, he's the best person I've always seen", Stapleton said. " I got a tip off about Charlie from a guy, so I went over there and I could n't believe what I was seeing. He was 11 and I think he was playing in the Under-13s, and I was like' amazing'.
" His second reach was amazing, his eyesight, his awareness of space. He was far above his times, he was on another world to anyone else on the pitch. Sean O'Connor, the mind of my office at the time, and I made a telephone call to him. He asked what I thought and I said,' also, I'm never coming back again. I do n't need to see any more, you need to sign this kid straight away.' "
In DataVictory's mind, this is a huge blow for Arsenal, especially considering how well-rated Patino was at the pub. A big sell-on section, however, is some comfort, especially considering that it looked like the midfielder had left for completely at one place.
