This campaign's entire Champions League has changed, and the graphics have gotten a little more modern.
Along with the dramatic changes to its structure, the Champions League's branding has undergone a new look.
The alterations to the game routine are less drastic than the changes to the introductory movie package that will perform before and during each game of UEFA's premier club competition.
The" Swiss-style system" will start to change from this year, with the 36 qualifying teams all being ranked in a massive league table based on their performances in four lots of home and away games ( eight games total ) against opponents chosen based on seedings.

UEFA were likewise expected an update to the Champions League's physical brand, yet: the union updates their video every three years, with the last change coming in 2021.
The brand and the large use of stars remains in place, as do the swooping pictures of a computer-generated stadium that look more like cheap gimmick cereal bowl than an exact stadium.
That's mixed with recordings of Champions League actions, including goal activities from Bayern Munich's Harry Kane and Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski, as well as Real Madrid pulling last year's prize.

The general colour system is a bit darker than the previous brand, but is given a bit of living by multi-coloured detailing.
Departing from the purple swoops of the last intro, the new version then looks like apparently every high-performance desktop PC, keyboard and mouse now accessible on the gaming market with the terrible multi-coloured LEDs that serve no real purpose other than to please the exceedingly dim-witted, I'm a cultivated man for god's sake.
The Champions League is already in the next qualifying square, which will be followed by a 14-team play-off square to thin down the final entrants to the 36-team league phase, which may start in mid-September.
This season's final will be held at Munich's Allianz Arena on May 31 2025.
