At the Paris 2024 Games, past Arsenal scorer Alexandre Lacazette helped visitors France begin their campaign with a winning stop.
A new" spygate" incident was the first day of the Olympic basketball competition's opening match between Argentina and Morocco, which was a chaotic outcome and the guests France cruised to victory over the USA.
The people's Olympic competition, which is an under-23s opposition, will work until August 9 when the gold medals will be awarded in Paris. Many fans are wondering what past Arsenal scorer Alexandre Lacazette is up to there after scoring the primary objective in France's 3-0 triumph over Marseille.
Lacazette, who left Arsenal in 2022 for Lyon, has scored 46 goals for the Ligue 1 edge over the past two months, showing that at 33 years old, he still has an attention for purpose.
But it's his time that had confused followers on social media, as they rushed to question why the forward was allowed to function in an under-23s competitors.
" France is right up killing USA in sport! How is Lacazette perhaps playing tho? I thought that hockey was U23 in the Olympics", asked one fan on X.
Another follower wrote," France sending Lacazette to the Olympics and not the Euro may be illegal," and another video of Michael Owen celebrating by blasting the ball past a 13-year-old goalkeeper was also spotted on the social networking.

The reason for Lacazette's participation is a simple one. Each state is allowed to pick three excess players, Lacazette being chosen alongside Jean-Philippe Mateta and Loic Bade as France's boss Thiery Henry.
In the 61st moment against the USA, Lacazette opened the scoring, with fresh Bayern Munich filing Michael Olise rapidly adding a minute before Bade added a third.
Hosts France are one of the favourites to get the silver medal on home soil and will experience Guinea on Saturday in their next class activity before meeting New Zealand next year.
If France triumph, Lacazette, a veteran striker, would be looking to win his first major international award since winning the FA Cup with Arsenal in 2020.
