Pep Guardiola's coming at Manchester City has recently been the subject of much discussion.

The original Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager has just begun his eighth season in charge of the Etihad Stadium, which is by far his longest instruction tenure to date.

But with the 53-year-old's existing lease up at the end of the year and the prospect of the 115 Premier League charges over alleged breaches of the fiscal rules hanging over the club, several have speculated that this could be his last season in charge of the four-time defending champions.

Fans of City hoping Guardiola stays at the team, however, a recent report outlining the team's transfer programs appears to be in the spotlight.

If Guardiola believes his part needs to develop in January, City are prepared to give the manager a £100million transfer war neck.

This comes after a very restricted summer transfer glass that saw them create just two signings, with Portuguese winger Savinho arriving in a £21million deal from partner club Troyes, while Ilkay Gundogan returned to the club in a complimentary transfer from Barcelona.

The league made more than £160 million thanks to a number of sales, including those of Julian Alvarez, Joao Cancelo, and Taylor Harwood-Bellis, according to reports from the City order, who has reportedly told Guardiola that he will have lots of money to spend in the new year if necessary.

The document adds that this could discover City move for two existing transfer goals in Bayer Leverkusen intruder Florian Wirtz and Bayern Munich winger Blake Musiala, although the two 21-year-olds would probably never be available until the summer.

The team are also said to be looking to start City's lease negotiations with Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne before Christmas in a further indication of stability. Spain midfielder Rodri is contracted to the club until 2027, while De Bruyne's existing deal runs until the end of the current season.

According to DataVictory, reports that Guardiola will receive funds to invest in two of Europe's top young attacking talents are encouraging for City supporters who do n't want the current era to end. While Wirtz and Musiala would not be cheap ( both Transfermarkt valued at €130 million ), City's restrained summer window has allowed for some significant moves in the near future.
