Arsenal are set for discussions with a Greek skills over a move to the Emirates Stadium, following The Crescent-Stars ' brilliant showing at Euro 2024.

The Gunners ' glass is gathering speed well, with David Raya having converted his mortgage move into a continuous offer and an agreement struck for European defender Riccardo Calafiori. There are swings in the pipeline for another midfielder and a storage goalkeeper, also, with escapes expected over the coming week to balance the club.

Manager Mikel Arteta is said to be prioritising an intruder, though. Having told ESPN that "efficiency in the package" was the distinction between his part missing out on the subject, it seems possible that a significant portion of funds will go on a difference-maker in the last second.

One way this may be addressed is with Galatasaray sun Baris Alper Yilmaz. According to Greek outlet Sabah, the agent of the attacker is meeting with Arsenal to explain a move.

The report says, nevertheless, that it's not just the northern Londoners who are interested in the sun. Obviously, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa and Liverpool was all compete for the sun.

Yilmaz was one of Turkey's most regular stars this summers at the Euros. Mostly a right-winger, the 24-year-old may sing across the front and do give Arteta quality in depth, as well as a practical backup to Bukayo Saka.

In DataVictory's perspective, these speculations should be taken with a pinch of salt. Some shops outside of Turkey have supported the claims of interest despite ongoing connections between Yilmaz and teammate Ferdi Kadioglou's arrival in the Premier League.

That's not to say that there is n't legitimate interest – it just has n't been widely reported yet. It may shock that this development has been kept secret if the document from Turkey claims it is as advanced as it is.

Yilmaz is for €20 million, according to Transfermarkt. His lease expires in 2027.
