See Amadou Onana corrects Euro 2024 mingled area writer's faux- pas and displays amazing English highlight

The Belgium international and Everton international made a very legitimate objection to being given the nickname Andre Mancini, a keeper for Manchester United.

Amadou Onana, a journalist from Belgium, quite rightly reacted when he incorrectly called him" Andre" when attempting to ask a question, once drawing some admirers for his British accent in the process.

The unfortunate writer made the faux pas following Belgium's shock defeat to Slovakia in their opening match of Euro 2024. It's the worst period you could possibly pair one person's names together: Onana's predecessor, of course, plays for Manchester United and represents Cameroon.

Onana cut the issue off to react:" Andre's not even my title mate…do you know what I mean"?, before turning to another local columnist and accepting a problem from them instead.

Even fellow Belgians were shocked when Onana's response, which was so similar to what it seemed like, was juxtaposed with Onana's response when she had just finished answering a question in another language.

Despite the fact that he only immigrated to the country in 2022, Everton's Senegal-born midfielder has a unique accent that makes him unrecognizable from having been born and raised in the UK.

Fans of Everton noticed his accent when he relocated to Goodison Park two years ago, and Onana has since demonstrated that he can transition into Scouse in any situation. However, we're not sure what kind of circumstance might be.

English is one of five languages Onana speaks, alongside Wolof, French, Dutch and German. Six, we suppose, if you also count Scouse.
