Josh Hazlewood, who suffered a leg strain last week while training, may lose the T20I collection against Scotland next month.

Riley Meredith, who played the last of his five T20Is in 2021, has been added to the crew. Although the candidates may be cautious in their selections in the lead-up to a hectic summer that includes five Testing against India, Hazlewood's damage is described as small and he is expected to be fit for the T20Is and ODIs against England later in September.

In white ball cricket for Somerset during the English campaign, Meredith has played. He took 14 innings at 22.78 in the T20 Blast and six innings in three one-day pot activities, including 4 for 27 against Middlesex at Lord's, where Somerset have reached the final. He has taken eight T20I batsmen having played against New Zealand and West Indies three years ago.

Hazlewood is the next quick bowling ruled out of the crew after Spencer Johnson picked up a side stress playing in the Hundred.

Meredith, Xavier Bartlett, Sean Abbott, and Nathan Ellis will then play alongside all-stars Cameron Green, Aaron Hardie, and Marcus Stoinis, as well as potential captain Mitchell Marsh, in the line speed harm. Adam Zampa and the unrestricted Cooper Connolly will provide the roll.

Hazlewood had been the only one of Australia's great three bowlers first included for the whole journey of the UK. While Pat Cummins is sat out the whole trip to focus on his health ahead of the summer, Mitchell Starc may have in the Wickets against England.

Cummins stated last week that the top priority is to "scramble out some gym job" and to begin reviewing a course of action in a few days. After two years of nonstop ball, I'm only trying to fill up the bucket. ]Hoping ] come that first Test]against India ] in as good of a position as I have been in for a few years".

Australia fly out to Scotland on Monday with the first T20I taking area in Edinburgh on September 4.
