Left-arm fast Spencer Johnson has been ruled out of the T20I set against Scotland and England second quarter after picking up a side tension in the Hundred with Oval Invincibles.
Sean Abbott, a native of New South Wales, may take his place after his initial inclusion in the ODI club for the five games against England.
Johnson had a trim Hundred plan, but he only managed to take two wickets in six games when he made an impressive display when he lost to Northern Superchargers, who went 1 for 10 from 20 deliveries.

Australia's next T20Is are a three-match set against Pakistan in mid-November, which could provide Johnson with another opportunity given that the Test bowlers will not play because Perth's second Test is close by.
After the Pakistan line, Australia are not scheduled to play T20Is until following July in West Indies.
