Ollie Pope, England's existing stand-in Test captain, has partnered with Adelaide Workers for the BBL.

Pope, who is leading England against Sri Lanka according to Ben Stokes ' hamstring injuries, will be available for Strikers after the Examine tour of New Zealand which finishes on December 18 which means he may lose at least their second match.

Pope may be looking to build on a T20 history of 1295 works at 28.77 and a strike-rate of 132.82. He had a trim time in the new Hundred for London Spirit where he made 35 works in five innings.

He may have a chance to team up with Ashes opponents Travis Head and Alex Carey, the first who has signed a new four-year bargain, when they are available for the BBL for a small screen after the India Test line.

" Ollie Pope is an exceptional ability with a proven track record at the highest level", Tim Paine, Workers ' fresh head coach, said. " His powerful bat type and wicket-keeping skills are a fantastic addition to our crew".

It was confirmed earlier in the week that Workers had hardly taken allrounder Jamie Overton as their pre-draft drafting but they will be able to use their engagement solution if needed during the review itself if they wish to take up the England allrounder who had a huge impact last year.

AAP reported that Rashid Khan has not nominated for the document meaning he may lose the BBL for the next subsequent period after being ruled out by injuries last season. Rashid has signed for the SA20 while Afghanistan has foreign cricket scheduled for the first half of the BBL.

On September 1, the BBL review will be held.
