Bowlers will have three right-to-match possibilities at the IPL 2025 big auction
Prior to the IPL 2025 big bid, Royal Challengers Bengaluru is likely to retain Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Yash Dayal.
In addition to having three right-to-match options at the big auction, RCB may lose at least INR 36 crore by keeping two reduced players and one unrestricted player, as well as having the option to purchase one uncapped American player and two reduced players, or three reduced players.
Some of the high-profile people hardly retained by RCB include their 2024 month's captain Faf du Plessis, Mohammed Siraj, Glenn Maxwell and Cameron Green. RCB finished fifth in IPL 2024 and lost the Eliminator to Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The ten companies must post their listings of retained gamers to the IPL by October 31. Before the big auction, the teams were able to retain up to six players, with the exception of two unlimited players and five capped internationals. The franchises are free to spend more or less than the minimum deductions from the auction purse for each player retained, despite the IPL's least rules for the first player, the next player, the next player, the third player, the third player, the second player, and the third player, who is not capped, being INR 18 crore.
