Moin Khan, a former Pakistani captain, claims that the team management and the Pakistan selectors have failed to give his son Azam a steady run in the side, putting pressure on his confidence.

Azam's most new looks for Pakistan was the T20 World Cup earlier this year in the West Indies and the USA, and Moin followed suit. Azam played just the beginning match of Pakistan's plan, the Super-Over battle to USA. He played as wicketkeeper-batter, and scored a first-ball bird. He was dropped later, with Mohammad Rizwan, who played as a professional flour against USA, taking up the keeper's boots.

" I watched the entire World Cup and the games leading up to it, and it seemed like Azam was the number one option for wicketkeeping and bowling," Moin told PTI. " Therefore suddenly, after just one match, the whole plan was changed. "

Pakistan exited the game at the first class step itself, winning two activities and losing to USA and India.

" Azam was n't given a chance to keep wickets after one match and was dropped after getting out on the very first ball [against USA]," Moin said. Any player may leave on the first game, but this is a departure from the old custom of developing players. Whether it's the captain or the control, if they make for quick adjustments to players, how may we make great players? "

Azam has faced scrutiny straight through his career for his health, and while Moin agreed with some of the condemnation, he said his brother was then working hard on that place.

I do n't believe the team management or the captain are to blame for everything; Azam has his own deficiencies to," Moin said. He must exercise more effectively, strengthen his mind and physical tenacity, and abide by the advice of other athletes.

" For the past month or so, I've noticed he's been working hard to improve his fitness with his trainer Shehzar Mohammad, even taking him along to the Caribbean [Premier ] League. I hope Azam has learned a lot from this practice. "

' Removing Shaheen from the captain was wrong'

Moin expressed strong support for Shaheen Shah Afridi to become Pakistan's white-ball captain. Shaheen had taken over as T20I captain- and was seen as a pioneer for the ODI captain also- in the midst of Babar Azam's withdrawal following the ODI World Cup in India next season. Shaheen's career lasted only one line, but, with Babar reinstated in March.

" Shaheen Afridi has the ability to guide the team and is greatly liked by the people. Moin praised him as a top T20 captain. " In white-ball cricket, I do n't see anyone else suitable for the role. It was wrong to remove him from the captain. "

In addition, Moin argued for the use of one captain in all competitions and believed that team effectiveness would only be affected by ongoing management changes.

If there are frequent changes, people may not subscribe to their captain, he said. " If the cricket plank provides full support to the captain and informs them of a long-term duty, the player's performance will improve. "
