Singh last played a dynamic game for Ireland in a year ago and last participated in a 2022 T20 World Cup competition.
Simi Singh, an Irish committee official, is reportedly suffering from serious illness on Thursday.
Singh, 37, has played 35 Wickets and 53 T20Is for Ireland, bowling roll and batting in the lower-middle purchase. He next turned out for Ireland at the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia, and his last dynamic cricket came a year ago, for Leinster Lightning in the Inter-Pro List A game.
" We have received surprising information that our companion Simi Singh is now dealing with lethal health conditions," said Warren Deutrom, CEO of Cricket Ireland. " On behalf of Cricket Ireland, and indeed the wider European cricket area, I would like to expand our best intentions and blessings to Simi as he takes on this innovative battle.
" After moving to Ireland, Simi has become a key figure within Irish cricket- whether at global, provincial or team level- he has shown a desire and drive to succeed. We then hope that this same drive did observe him come through the recent circumstances."
The specifics of Singh's disease are yet to be confirmed.
Singh has 39 ODI innings at an average of 25.92 and an economy of only 3.99, and 44 T20I innings at 27.84 with an equally remarkable short-format business of 7.61. He had a particularly impressive 2021 in ODI cricket, taking 19 wickets at 20.15 and hitting his highest score in the format: 100 not out off 91 in a big chase against South Africa ( Ireland fell 70 short chasing 347 ). His strong statistics finally put him in ESPNcricinfo's people's ODI Team of the Year that season.
