JP Duminy, a former international league T20 ( ILT20 ) player, has been appointed Sharjah Warriorz's head coach. Duminy is now even South Africa's white-ball batting coach, having taken up the role in soon 2023.
Duminy's white-ball international career had run from 2004 to 2019, and in between he was also part of the Caribbean Premier League ( CPL), Indian Premier League ( IPL) and Pakistan Super League ( PSL). In the first year of the SA20, he coached Paarl Royals before moving to South Africa and working for Boland Rocks as a coach.
Duminy stated in response to the news of his Warriorz position," I'm thrilled to take on the challenge of being the Sharjah Warriorz brain coach." This is a fantastic set-up that is upbeat, optimistic, and full of ideas for the forthcoming year.
