CPL 2024: Nortje, Shamsi to remove Thushara, Hasaranga at Patriots

The Sri Lankan couple is already recuperating from their injuries.

For St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in CPL 2024, Wanindu Hasaranga and Nuwan Thushara may not be able to perform for the Sri Lankan duo. During the most current home-courtside white-ball match against India, both players were injured.

Hasaranga and Thushara will be replaced by Tabraiz Shamsi and Anrich Nortje, according to the Patriots.

Hasaranga played the initial ODI before being sidelined with a hamstring injuries, while warrior Thushara was ruled out of the full series due to a thumb injury.

Nortje is yet to render his Associate debut but Shamsi is a common name at the club, having played 32 activities, including 27 for Patriots. Shamsi has 33 wickets for the Patriots while maintaining the 7.06 business level.

Nortje and Shamsi will reconnect with their South Africa team-mate Tristan Stubbs at Patriots. The team had only won one game and finished past in CPL 2023.
