One shift for England as top fast bowler is preferred over Pennington and Potts
The only shift to England's starting XI for the next Check against West Indies at Trent Bridge will be Mark Wood, who was replaced by James Anderson who retired.
Wood, England's fastest bowling, was not available for the Lord's Test, having only just returned to the state after the implementation of England's T20 World Cup campaign in the Caribbean, in which he claimed three wickets in five images. He has not yet played a first-class match for Durham this year.
