Before coming to an end in March, Moreeng served as the head coach of the South Africa children's team for 11 years.
Hilton Moreeng has been appointed the new nose coach of USA's mature and Under- 19 women's groups. He takes over from Shivnarine Chanderpaul, whose deal came to an end in 2023.
Before his tenure as South Africa's female's head coach ended in March of this year, Moreeng spent more than 11 years there. Under him, South Africa made two ODI World Cup semi- finals, two T20 World Cup semi- finals, and became the first nationwide top edge to achieve a World Cup final, at house in the 2023 T20 World Cup.
" I am thrilled to meet USA Cricket and willing to work with both current athletes and emerging talent", Moreeng said. " My goal is to methodically develop a dynamic club worthy of rivaling the best in women's cricket internationally. Collectively, we aim to develop a culture of greatness and success within USA Cricket, paving the way for a prosperous future on the global level".
Previous Australia international Julia Price served as the head coach of the team from 2019 to 2022 before Chanderpaul took over.

" USA people are even at the beginning of a transformational time with an Olympics in four years ' time and we believe Hilton's achievement, perse experience, and understanding of issues in an emerging cricket region is well suited for our program".
Moreeng's initial project will begin with preparation for the 2025 U- 19 Children's T20 World Cup.
