The original All-Australian international leaves his position as an assistant manager for the Sydney Sixers.
Former Australia bright- game captain Cameron White has been identified as the person to coach the Melbourne Renegades again into contention in the BBL.
David Saker left in May after a upsetting seventh-place end in his second year at the helm, and White has agreed to a three-year contract.
The 40-year-old White is taking on his first head-coaching position, but he has previously worked for the Adelaide Strikers associate aide and former aide to the Sydney Pacers for the past two decades.
He will be the first to make the Renegades squad, which includes legendary bowlers Adam Zampa and Nathan Lyon, as well as renowned attract Josh Brown.
