The factors that led to the request for the change are job management and the wind in Greater Noida in July.
According to ESPNcricinfo, the BCB has requested that the White-Ball series in Greater Noida be postponed and that the games be played as soon as" the two boards find a window."
In late July, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) had suggested three Wickets and three T20Is, adding that the BCB had also chosen the BCB meet deadlines, which were July 25 through August 6. Following the initial addition of two Tests, the tour's original deadline was revised.
The BCB felt that an international series would n't be possible due to the conditions there at the time. Because of the monsoons, the peninsula typically considers June to September to be off-season. Prior to this, the BCB had delayed the line in order to account for the athletes ' workload.
Bangladesh's next task is a two- Test set in Pakistan from middle- August, the deadline for which has n't been announced however. In preparation for this series, many of the Test people may be busy playing red-ball games. They may play three domestic matches in Chattogram and Sylhet, followed by four four-day contests against Pakistan Shaheens in Darwin and then in Pakistan.
Bangladesh may travel to India for two Checks and three T20Is between September 19 and October 12. Following that, two Tests at home against South Africa will be played, followed by a full-day tour of the West Indies, which will include two Tests, three OD Is, and three T20Is in November and December.
The BCB was always reluctant to participate in the two Checks against Afghanistan because of that task. One Check against Zimbabwe was also delayed earlier this year, transforming that visit into five T20Is in May. By December 2024, Bangladesh may have finished its World Test Championship campaign.
