Rashid: Semi- last is' huge inspiration for youngsters ' back home

Naveen calls it" a strange knowledge" as Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in a spectacular finish in Kingstown

Rashid Khan has described Afghanistan's qualifier for the T20 World Cup semi- last as an "unbelievable experience" and that it would be a "massive ideas" for youngsters up house.

" I think the semi- last is going to be a huge, huge enthusiasm for the youngsters up residence in Afghanistan", Rashid said after Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in St Vincent to secure their place in the final four and push Australia out. " That Afghanistan team got into the semifinal for the first time. We have done it at Under- 19 amount, but this amount we have n't done that. Yet Super Eight was second time for us and therefore in semifinals. We are ready, in my opinion, but as long as we keep things simple, and I believe we have in the majority of the competition so much. Yes, there were some difficult periods, but we never relinquished our resolve and often make an effort to overcome them.

Rashid and Naveen la Haq combined for 105 wickets to enable Bangladesh defeat them, eight innings short of their DLS-adjusted target of 114 in 19 innings.

" It's things like a dream for us as a team to be in the semi- final", Rashid said after the suit. " It's all about the way we had started the game. When we defeated New Zealand, the conviction was made. So it's unreal. I do n't have any words to describe my feelings. Everyone is undoubtedly but glad for this that they are back home.

Bangladesh had to hunt down the goal in 12.1 innings, which Afghanistan exploited, but the situation was much more difficult for them. With rainfall in the air, the pendulum swung from one area to another many occasions before Afghanistan sealed the fit.

" In our mind, we felt 130- 135 was a great complete on this innings but we were 15- 20 goes quick," Rashid said". But a dozen activities we had watched before, 115 was the best complete on this innings. So it was all about the attitude. We were aware that they would use all of their force to defeat us in the semi-finale, which they did by winning it in 12 innings.

We had a chance to bowl the trees out if we had thrown them in. We did n't need to do anything extra. We were very obvious with our organizing. Putting in that 100 % work is always in your arms. Rain, rain is not in your hands. And we had to force ourselves for people back home, for their pleasure, to make the region happy. People did a fantastic job, and that was the topic we raised.

Rashid even lauded his strong bowlers- Naveen, who was named Player of the Match, and Fazalhaq Farooqi, who is now the leading batsman- taker in the competition. On Monday, they combined to reduce Bangladesh to 23 for 3 inside three overs.

" That made our job easy", Rashid said. " In T20s, if you start well, that gives us spinners to attack the batters in the middle overs. Prior to now, we had forgotten about that. However, the fast bowlers we have now are not as fast as they are, but they are skilled. I believe that T20 skills make you more effective, and they have helped us advance so far in the competition. They had a very clear mind, which pleased me greatly.
