Rohit leaves the file as its highest scorers- 4231 works in 159 fits- and also holds the record for the most generations ( five ) in T20 internationals. He's won two T20 World Cup names: the inaugural one as a participant in 2007 and now as commander in 2024.
Rohit and Kohli's pension from the T20I style was not wholly unexpected. Both players had hardly played any T20Is after India's semi- last fight in the 2022 T20 World Cup semi- last, and just resumed playing T20Is in January this year- with the focus on the 2024 T20 World Cup.
In challenging bowling situations in the USA and the West Indies, Rohit finished the game with a 257 run-scorer at a rate of 156.70 at the highest level. He accepted the responsibility of scoring important match-winning half-century in India's ultimate Super Eight match against Australia and in the semi-final against England while giving them quick starts with his attacking style.
