After dealing with a body clot topic for weeks, Thompson was given a new opportunity to play for the Detroit Pistons. Thompson may begin ramping up his sports activity and participating in regular practice with the Pistons, though it's not yet clear when he will make his period debut.

Ausar Thompson averaged 8.8 positions and 6.4 rebounds per game last year. Along with Victor Wembanyama, the legend of the San Antonio Spurs, and Chet Holmgren, the other rookie player who had at least 50 snatches and 50 prevents last year, also. In Pistons story, only three rookies have succeeded in doing that.
" It's going to take some time, we're going to have to gate him up", Bickerstaff said. " There just has n't been an opportunity, because of the process, for him to play five on five and do those types of things. Anybody who's been out as long as he's been away, it's only going to take us a little bit of time, but we'll always defend him initially and do as much as we can, but that he's secure first and foremost".
Before Tuesday's game against the Miami Heat, the Pistons already have a 4-7 history this year. Monty Williams, who had only played for the business for one year and finished with a 14-68 record, was replaced by Bickerstaff this history offseason. The Pistons have made the playoffs just twice in the past generation, and they've managed only one winning year over that period.
