Followers throwing things onto the ball have caused a number of games at Euro 2024 to be ruined.
Turkey's wonderful Euro 2024 final- 16 win over Austria was marred by a series of incidents that saw objects thrown onto the angle, continuing an undesirable tendency at the competition in Germany this summer.
Bowls were thrown on the ball in Leipzig on a number of times throughout the 90 days, but the most critical incident saw Austria playmaker Marcel Sabitzer struck by what appeared to be a penny on the church as he prepared to take a part in the second quarter.
In an effort to find those spectators responsible for the incident to stop throwing objects, some Turkish players made their way to the corner of the ball where they spoke to the masses.
Large amounts of cups had to be cleared from the ball on many occasions, with Turkey's young midfielder Arda Guler opting to fight the spectators dependable one on celebration, turning to face fans and putting his hand to his ear as more cups flew over towards him.
At Euro 2024, UEFA has previously fined a number of countries more than €1 million for crimes committed by followers, including throwing objects and using fireworks.
Tuesday's first match between the Netherlands and Romania even saw a trainer thrown onto the pitch immediately before Donyell Malen scored the ultimate goal in the Dutch's 3- 0 win.

Turkey won the game 2-0 over Austria with a brace from defender Merih Demiral, sealing a place in the quarter-finals against the Netherlands.
