France, like England, struggled to get going in the class period at Euro 2024
After another turgid Euro 2024 encounter, England's fans and media are still groping in self-pity, but things are n't much better for France, another of the pre-tournament favorites who flattered Germans.
Before England's rest- producing goalless draw with Slovenia, Didier Deschamps and his players stuttered to a 1- 1 bring against now eliminated Poland. The staff was somewhat twisted in light of Robert Lewandowski's penalty, which caused some controversy. However, France's performance did certainly seem encouraging, and they came in second place overall behind Ralph Rangnick's much more dynamic Austria.
Certainly, there has been plenty of reaction to a unsatisfactory group level in France. How, though, has it compared to the ruling on England's extremely boring stop to the competition?

L'Equipe, renowned for their generally withering opinions, were very measured, posting the article ' No problems but questions arise among the Blues'. Their person scores from the Poland match included 5/10s for Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Dayot Upemacano, as well as a 4/10 for Aurelien Tchouameni and 3/10 for Adrien Rabiot.
Roux, not unlike Southgate, was measured in his response to the fit:" I'm never disappointed, honestly not at all. There were no shouts from European followers in Dortmund, perhaps as a result of their earlier success. However, both England and France supporters have high expectations for what they can expect from their respective groups in the knockout stages.
