If Harry Kane fulfills his ability as a result of his big-money move to Tottenham, then past England scorer Alan Shearer thinks Dominic Solanke could be the guy to replace him in the national team installation.

Solanke spent two years in the Championship after joining Bournemouth in January 2019 and falling into fall the next time because he had struggled to make a lasting impression during his previous stints at Chelsea and Liverpool.

The 26 year old has been well and really found his feet since, but, racking up an impressive 73 goals in 170 looks in all competitions last year, including averaging a goal every other Premier League game in an ever-present time for Bournemouth next word.

Shearer: Solanke may remove Harry Kane for England

Shearer told Betfair:" I'm actually looking forward to watching Dominic Solanke this year because he'll need to carry on from a great time last year with Bournemouth." Tottenham Hotspur reported spending between £55 and £65 million for Solanke's solutions earlier this month. I'm confident he'll get more chances at Heels. I hope he does also.

" Solanke could be the missing part in Spurs ' issue. He is in his prime now, has experience, and given his last-year kind, he should have had a lot of assurance. He knows what it's like to become in a large team.

Knowing someone is willing to pay that much for him may help, too. He may love and accept the fact that someone is willing to pay for him, and it may also give him great confidence. Players may work in various ways. I think he'll do really well.

Harry Kane was under stress at the Euros, and I am aware of the fact that he was one of the six players who scored three goals while not at his best.

" So he wo n't be ready to give up the England shirt any time soon, but anyone who wants to try to get Harry Kane to score goals will have to go out and play international football."

Solanke has a wonderful chance to do that at Spurs, and he is capable of doing that.

Solanke, who was named in a polite against Brazil in November 2017 shortly after moving to Liverpool, currently holds just one older England cap.
