The Mavs' no very happy.
In a punch for the Dallas Mavericks, star Luka Dončić is going to lose some day. Doni has reportedly suffered a elbow injuries and will likely not be playing for a while, according to The Stein Line's Marc Stein.
There is no information on the nature of Dončić's injuries. He will presumably get reevaluated in one year, which is the earliest he was returning. In the meantime, the 8-7 Maverick will have to enjoy the Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks without him.
Dončić, 25, has been playing damage for the last two months. Since Nov. 8, he's been nursing a placed groin stress, which he sustained while facing the Phoenix Suns. Five days later, he banged up his right thigh, which has also been bothering him. He has only missed one game this year, the Mavs' win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on November 17 despite the accidents that are starting to mount.
According to ESPN, Dončić has now started rehabbing the damage.
