At the end of August, Chelsea's window to signal players was shut down, but trading is also possible in a few of Europe's developing nations.
After the Premier League transfer windows has closed, Chelsea are also looking to unload players from their squad, which is a startling development. But how are they going to manage fewer than one billion people?
Enzo Maresca's already-sizeable crew was bolstered by ten fresh visitors over the summer windows, with many high-profile sales helping to make way, but Chelsea still have work to do to find new homes for some of the people who do not find in the new head coach's programs.
Luckily, Greece is one of the few nations in Europe whose transfer windows are still open.
David Fofana, a Chelsea sun, is interested in switching to AEK Athens.
We've never mentioned Greece out of nowhere, either: AEK Athens are presumably' in advanced talks' to sign Chelsea's David Datro Fofana, who arrived at the club a full 20 months back as a 20 year old and is therefore properly past his sell-by date at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are eager to secure a lasting departure for Fofana, according to Football Insider, which may result in a loss at first for the Ivory Coast worldwide but eventually turn into a profit.
Nevertheless, they add that although the venues are in speaks, a price is yet to be agreed. There is still a little time until an agreement is reached because the Greek transfer glass closes on Wednesday.
Fofana has made only four looks for Chelsea's first team since arriving at the pub, all in the second half of the 2022/23 period.
The forward was then called back in January so he could get sent back to then-Premier League side Burnley after scoring twice in 17 games for European club Union Berlin last summer. Fofana netted four days in 15 matches for Vincent Kompany's part as they battled in vain against fall.
Fofana is apparently one of a number of Chelsea athletes training away from the second team at Chelsea now having failed to catch Maresca's attention over the summer.
