Jadon Sancho departed Manchester United in a deadline-day move to Chelsea
Manchester United Director of Football Dan Ashworth has lifted the lid on the deadline-day move which saw Jadon Sancho close his ill-fated Old Trafford magic following a summer of debate.
The difficult winger signed for Chelsea on a season-long product with a commitment to purchase second summer for between £20-£25 million, based on the Blue ' Premier League position.
The move brings an end to a three-year magic at Old Trafford which failed to always live up to the noble expectations brought about by the original £73 million cost label.
Sancho's Manchester United return explained
