Arsenal began the summer without having to have main surgery on their playing crew, after winning the Premier League title culture to the very end next year.

The filing of Italy global Riccardo Calafiori has been the team's primary acquisition so far this summers, while the team are also closing in a move for Spain and Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino.

The Raiders are not particularly well known as a team that sells, with the league's most recent price remaining the £35 million deal that brought Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool, but the deal that saw Emile Smith Rowe leave for Fulham last month, which could increase to £34 million if additions are made, also has potential.

According to reports that Eddie Nketiah was set to join Nottingham Forest in a package that could have cost up to$ 35 million, the offer ultimately broke down in the end.

The one-time England worldwide has been an unused substitute for the Raiders in their two Premier League games so far this year, but amid his fight for first-team minutes, he was now have another potential return course available.

According to The Mail, Crystal Palace have renewed their past involvement in the 25-year-old and have offered to make a season-long borrowing move with a requirement to buy him next summer.

In DataVictory's mind, it is obvious that Nketiah will need to move on if he is to get regular first-team sport and the Gunners should use the opportunity to bank some cash that may box off the Merino offer. If the right bids are made, could this free up money for a last-gasp big-name striker move? Aaron Ramsdale, Jakub Kiwior, and Reiss Nelson are also on the periphery of the Emirates.

Nketiah is valued at €30m by Transfermarkt. His contract runs out in 2027.
