As a reward for his absent support, a Strasbourg fan received the trip of a career.
How would you like to go up from a match with your group's people? After taking a train only to his team's Ligue 1 game in Montpellier, a fresh Strasbourg fan had that opportunity.
A close six-hour train journey may have felt a little depressed, but the 18-year-old was evidently committed to seeing Strasbourg's first match of the new year. And his passion was rewarded.
He was given a flying up with the players by club president Marc Keller rather than the lengthy train trip after the game. The lover, who was identified as Thomas by the league as Thomas, was pictured enjoying the turn of events with a blanket in front of the private jet.

Since playing in the top flight since 2017-18, Strasbourg may be aiming to maintain their position in the Ligue 1. In 2021-22, Alsace finished as high as seventh, but they have since fallen behind.
Last month, Chelsea bought a majority interest in Strasbourg, effectively making the Ligue 1 costume a feeder team. That move proved a questionable one, though they could benefit on the pitch. This summer, left-back Caleb Wiley signed on product while Diego Moreira signed for €2 million.
After leaving Hull in May, Strasbourg has also appointed Liam Rosenior as their new director. Patrick Vieira, a previous Arsenal player and past Crystal Palace manager, left in July.
After watching his part draw with Montpellier and flying back in style, teen Thomas did promise Rosenior will be the one to help Strasbourg have a productive time.
