Next to emerge as the next shining lighting from Manchester United's renowned club system is Bobbie Mainoo.
Under Erik ten Hag, Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is continuing to grow in stature.
The child's rise through the rates at arguably the biggest team in world sport, which was a mere mysterious entity a little over a year ago, merits praise. In addition, Mainoo has already started and participated in the FA Cup final and Euro 2024 last, which is commendable in and of itself.
It is safe to assume that the Stockporn-born ability is moving somewhere in a hurry because they have a solid new deal in place until 2027 at Old Trafford. At 20, he has the sports earth at his ft but it does beg the question of just what his profession may seem like farther down the line.
Mainoo made a strong influence under Ten Hag in the second half of the time despite the accidents that had plagued his first 2023/24 plan. According to the Manchester Evening News, it was in that moment that he decided to learn Spanish as a pass time while away from the sport pitch.
He told reporters earlier this year," I started taking Spanish lessons on Zoom just to pass the time a little." He says," Un poco, I'll try to pick it up again because I enjoyed it."
Whilst his curiosity in another language does not cause immediate concerns – though Spanish store Don Diario reported Real Madrid's involvement in Mainoo earlier this year – his quest to reach the top of the professional game nevertheless appears a real possibility. In 2003, Manchester United faced a similar situation after currently receiving praise from some of the best professionals and former players all over the world.
Cristiano Ronaldo started out as the blue-eyed child with the earth waiting for him to end, and he finally made up his mind to play at Old Trafford, where the leading Spanish groups from Spain called.
Given the fast-paced nature of the game more than 20 years after, Mainoo is of the same alias as Ronaldo in 2003, if not even more forward in his creation. Who would have thought Kobbie would leave the club for the biggest in Europe, getting at the same threshold as Cristiano did in 2009, despite being also young and with a lot to know?
This is all just speculation. But even those Spanish lessons will one day be useful for the Manchester United fan who has the world at his foot...
