This summer, Chelsea have been looking for a new scorer.
Chelsea have the opportunity to go out and sign their fresh Didier Drogba, according to one of the Ivorian's past Blue friends.
The Ivory Coast forward was a crucial part of Chelsea's success during their Imperial Abramovic-funded era, with his team record £24million filing in 2004 helping the team win their first group subject for 50 years.
At Stamford Bridge, Drogba won four FA Cups and the 2012 Champions League, adding three more Premier League finalists ' awards to his collection. The forward did online 157 goals during his eight years with the team and William Gallas wants to see the Blues land another winger that have this kind of transformational effect on the team.
Chelsea are one of many leagues to have been linked with Napoli forward Victor Osimhen in recent months and Gallas believes the Music should do everything they can to get him.
" In a similar way to Didier Drogba, Victor Osimhen can provide Chelsea to the next level", the Frenchman told Genting Casino.
" Looking at what he has done with Napoli and leading them to the subject, he could do that with Chelsea. Chelsea need a striker and I do n't know what they are waiting for".
With 26 goals in the 2022/23 period, Osimhen has gained a reputation as one of the best strikers on the planet, helping Napoli win their second Serie A title in 33 years.
He has scored 76 goals for the Roman side in his previous four years, and his present Napoli contract has a reported £113 million release clause.
